Public benefit option in Saint Kitts and Nevis
The programme grants citizenship in return for investment in approved public benefit projects. The investment goes towards developing a range of sectors, including housing, education, culture and tourism. Citizenship is granted for life with no requirement to live in the country. The main investor's spouse and dependants may be included. Every application is filed only through an authorised agent.

The programme is open to a single investor and to a family group. Both options share the same investment base.

How the process runs
Approval runs through five stages with a clear order and set timings.

Choosing an authorised agent
1-2 weeksThe investor chooses an authorised agent, who guides them through the whole process of filing the documents and obtaining citizenship

Filing the documents
1-2 weeksEvery required form and document is filed through the agent. Due diligence on the origin of the funds begins

The interview
1-4 weeksThe main investor must attend an interview. Family members aged 16 and over may be called where necessary

Approval in principle and payment of the investment
120-180 days (from confirmation that the documents were received)The Citizenship Investment Unit gives notice of the outcome: approval in principle, refusal or a delay. On a favourable decision the investor pays the funds and the remaining fees

2-4 weeksA certificate of naturalisation is issued. On the strength of it a passport of Saint Kitts and Nevis may be applied for
