How we vet experts

We don't buy ready-made lists of “vetted partners”, and vetting isn't a tick-box form: we find every expert ourselves and judge them by how they actually handle clients. We bring in the best in each jurisdiction. And we don't touch grey schemes — lawful routes only.

We don't work with firms that invent grounds — the non-existent Romanian grandmother — or forge documents. Lawful routes only: otherwise the risk is yours, not theirs.

We look at closed cases, client reviews and experience with the exact type of work — in practice, not in claims.

Response time and service

How fast they reply, how clearly they explain things, how comfortable the process is. To us that matters as much as the price.

Depth in their niche and enough breadth to finish the job, rather than passing the client on.

Licences and official status

Where the service calls for it, we check the current licence and the expert's official registration in their jurisdiction.

In line with the market, no padding: you pay the expert directly at their official price, under their contract, with nothing added on top.

Common questions

Who does the work — Pactors or the expert?
The local expert does the work, under a contract directly with you. Pactors finds the expert, compares the options and stays with you through the process, but is not the provider and takes no payment for the expert's work.
Why isn't there a public list of experts?
We name the specific expert after looking at your case — that protects both you and our partners from enquiries that lead nowhere. For your task we pick the one with the right experience and the best terms on price and timing.
What if the expert doesn't deliver?
The expert stays with you to the result, and before anything is filed we check your profile for risks. If the chosen route turns out not to fit, we'll find an alternative. Refund terms are set out in the contract between you and the expert.
How much does a consultation cost?
With almost every expert the first consultation is free. The rare exceptions — a lawyer's consultation in the UAE, for instance — are paid at a fixed rate, and that is always stated upfront.
Why not just find someone in an expat chat?
In an open chat you don't know who is answering: replies arrive in your DMs, you can't verify anyone's licence, and the chat itself is often run by an agency selling its own services. We check the expert before they enter the catalogue: licence and registration, experience with your type of case, client reviews, response time. You still sign directly with them — you just aren't choosing from whoever messaged you first.
An AI already explained it all. Why a consultation?
Because an AI answers from the law, and the outcome depends on practice. It doesn't know the current queue at the department or how far out appointments are, it answers as of its training date while rules change, and it tends to agree with the way you framed the question. Someone who files with that department every week sees both the short route and the mistake that costs months. The consultation is free, so checking your plan costs you nothing.
How do you earn if you don't add a markup?
Working with us pays off for local experts: we take marketing, advertising and client acquisition off their hands. We do the first analysis of the case and the shortlist of jurisdictions — the experts stay focused on their own work. You pay their official price, and our matching is free for you.
