Working remotely in New Zealand on a visitor visa
A direct quotation from the page: “All visitor visas applied for on or after 27 January 2025 allow you to work remotely in New Zealand”. The rule covers tourists, people visiting relatives, partners and guardians on long-term visitor visas, and entry on an NZeTA. New Zealand tax may not arise if you have spent fewer than 92 days in the country over 12 months and the income is taxed abroad. Under a tax treaty the threshold rises to 183 days. You may study on a visitor visa for no more than three months in every 12 months.
Working Holiday Visalimited
Bilateral working holiday agreements. A direct quotation from the page: “Working holiday visas are only available in countries that have an agreement with New Zealand”. Before publishing the programme for a Russian-speaking audience, check the list of participating countries on the INZ website.
