Work residence permit — single permit (zezwolenie na pobyt czasowy i pracę)

The purpose of stay is to perform work in Poland where the circumstances justify a stay of longer than 3 months. The single permit combines the right of residence with the right to work for a named employer.

Business residence permit (zezwolenie na pobyt czasowy w celu prowadzenia działalności gospodarczej)

The purpose of stay is to carry on economic activity in Poland. It is also issued to members of the management board of a sp. z o.o. or a joint-stock company, to partners in a partnership and to holders of a commercial power of attorney (prokurent).

Study residence permit (zezwolenie na pobyt czasowy w celu kształcenia się na studiach)

Study on full-time first-cycle or second-cycle programmes or a single master's cycle, and in the doctoral school of an accredited institution.

Graduate residence permit for job search or starting a business (zezwolenie na pobyt czasowy — absolwent)

The purpose of stay is to look for work or to start carrying on economic activity in Poland after completing studies.

Residence permit for a family member of a Polish citizen (zezwolenie dla członka rodziny obywatela RP)

Living with a spouse who is a Polish citizen, where the marriage is recognised under Polish law; also the minor children of the foreign spouse.

Family reunification with a foreign national (zezwolenie w celu połączenia się z rodziną)

Reunification with a foreign national lawfully resident in Poland on one of the 14 grounds set out in the law, including permanent residence, EU long-term resident status and refugee status.

EU long-term resident (zezwolenie na pobyt rezydenta długoterminowego UE)

An open-ended right of residence for foreign nationals who have lived in Poland lawfully and continuously for the set period. The status is recognised in every EU country.
