Payroll (WPS) in the UAE
Calculating and paying salaries through the WPS system (for Mainland and some free zones).

What WPS is — the UAE's wage protection system
WPS is the state system for monitoring payments. Salaries are transferred to staff only through it: the state sees who was paid, how much and when.
The system was created so that employers do not delay payments. The other side of it for a company is that breaches are visible at once and carry sanctions up to a block on new work permits.

The terms the expert works on
Guarantees the outcome by contract
Writes the outcome and the timeline for every service — including opening a bank account — into the contract, and answers for them.
Bills in stages
You do not pay the whole sum up front: invoices come in instalments as each stage closes.
Fixes the price in the contract
The cost is locked in and does not grow as the work goes on. Prices on the site are indicative — the final figure comes after your case is reviewed.
Charges no hidden fees
No penalties or surcharges beyond the contract. No Pactors markup either: you pay the expert their own price.

The licence for your activity is matched, and the requirements worked through, by qualified lawyers.
Thinks a step ahead
Picks the zone and the licence so that a year from now you do not hit a limit and have to redo the whole thing.

What a UAE company needs in order to hire an employee
Hiring someone in the UAE is not a single action — the company first has to acquire employer status. The order is strict and no link can be skipped: each one rests on the one before.
- Registration with the labour ministry — the company receives an electronic employer file
- Establishment card — the company's card at the immigration authority; without it no visa applications can be filed
- Visa quota — how many employees the company is entitled to sponsor
- A work permit and a residence visa for the specific person
- Connection to the payroll system — payments run only through it
The order is the same for everyone, but the documents and the timings depend on whether the company is registered in a free zone or on the main territory.
How a company connects to the payroll system
- Opening a corporate account at a bank that works with the system
- Registering the company as an employer in the system
- Uploading the employee details and the amounts
- Uploading the payroll file every month by the set deadline
A late upload counts as a breach, even if the employee received the money by another route.
