ONE Pass (Overseas Networks & Expertise)

High income. The Refugee Convention has not been signed; there is no asylum.

Employment Pass (EP)

Professionals/managers.

S Pass

Mid-skilled staff.

EntrePass

Technology startups.

PEP (Personalised Employment Pass)

High-earning professionals. Not tied to an employer.

Global Investor Programme (GIP)

Investment in business/funds.

Student's Pass (STP)

Enrolment on a full-time course at an approved educational institution in Singapore. Foreign-born children aged 12 and under must submit vaccination records to the Communicable Diseases Agency (in force since 1 February 2019).

Dependant's Pass (DP)

Reunion with a holder of an Employment Pass or S Pass working in Singapore. Different requirements apply to holders of the Overseas Networks & Expertise Pass and the EntrePass. Relatives who do not meet the DP criteria may qualify for a Long-Term Visit Pass.

Long-Term Visit Pass (LTVP)

Long-term stay for relatives of an Employment Pass or S Pass holder who do not meet the Dependant's Pass criteria.

Singapore Permanent Residence (PR)

Obtaining Singapore permanent resident status on one of the prescribed grounds.

Work Permit for migrant worker

Work by semi-skilled migrants from approved countries and regions in particular sectors of the Singapore economy.

Tech.Passlimited

Attracting established entrepreneurs, business leaders and technical experts into Singapore's technology ecosystem. The scheme is closing: from 28 January 2027 the Economic Development Board (EDB) will stop accepting new Tech.Pass applications and renewal applications. It will be replaced by a new ONE Pass (AI and Tech) track. Current holders keep their pass until it expires.
