Documents to gather

  • A valid travel document with at least one free page for the visa sticker, valid for at least 6 months after the visa expires
  • A written request from a state body of the Kyrgyz Republic or from a legal entity registered in Kyrgyzstan, with copies of the constituent documents, the certificate of registration with the justice authorities and a certificate from the tax authority confirming that there are no arrears of taxes and insurance contributions (not required for nationals of countries with a simplified visa regime)
  • Payment of the consular fee — only in the form of a money order made out to the Embassy of Kyrgyzstan

The business visa does not lead to permanent residence. The permanent residence permit is issued by the State Registration Service on the basis of certificates of income, health, criminal record and housing.
