Who can obtain the status

The application is filed by a foreign national through a personal account on the dnomad.e-gov.kg portal. The official source names no restrictions by citizenship — there are requirements on income and professional activity.

The status is obtained in two stages through the dnomad.e-gov.kg electronic platform.

Activating the personal account
The foreign national submits a request to activate a personal account on the dnomad.e-gov.kg platform. An application for the status can only be filed once the account has been activated.

Filing the application and documents
The applicant uploads the full set of documents through the personal account: passport, digital photograph, employment or service contract, a statement of income of at least 5,000 US dollars for the year, a certificate of a balance of at least 3,000 US dollars and a document on professional qualifications.

Once the application has been examined, Digital Nomad status is granted for a term of 60 days.
